One day I got home from work to find my six year old son laughing so hard from the living room. I found him in front of the television set watching Looney Tunes. I remember the episode that he was watching from my own childhood days and I came over to join him which pleased him as well. It brought back a lot of memories and suddenly I was thinking about my favorite
sweatshirt which had all the Looney tunes together doing a wacky pose. I had outgrown that shirt when I reached high school and had no idea where that sweatshirt is right now.
I asked my son who he liked the most among the crazy cartoon characters that he was watching and he pointed out Taz, who was currently filling up the screen doing his crazy laugh as he had captured Bugs Bunny and was about to pour him in a cauldron of boiling water.
I had fun watching cartoons with my son so the next day I decided to check the mall for a Looney Tunes
sweatshirt that he can use. After all, he needed a new one since he damaged the last sweatshirt he had while he was playing in the school’s playground last week. I looked for one that featured the Tasmanian Devil that he loved but I could not find any.
Then when I got home I decided to check on line for
Looney Tune merchandise and I was able to find
numerous sweatshirts and other items that I found cute and adorable. There were throw pillows, stuff toys, eating utensils, shirts, caps, key chains and many more. I wanted to buy everything but of course it was impossible to do that so I focused on the sweatshirts for now.
As I was looking for the right
Taz sweatshirt for my son I realized that I can also order one for me too realizing that they also have adult sized sweatshirts. I began to look for the design that I once loved and after a few pages I finally found it. I got excited at the thought of being able to wear my favorite childhood sweatshirt once more and immediately ordered one for myself.
Throughout my son’s childhood, he was surrounded with
Looney Tunes merchandise as his love for the cartoon grew. The cartoon has influenced him a lot that he has been dubbed as the class clown by his teachers when he reached elementary school. I did not mind that though. It meant my son had a fun personality – just like the crazy characters in Looney Tunes.
